Balancing Progesterone Levels

There a number of things that doctors can look at when it comes to the reason a patient of theirs may be sick. It may be because of bad habits, whether it be smoking, eating too frequently or not enough, lack of sleep, or even stress. Less obviously, it could possibly be a dysfunction of something not properly working right in the body, but what exactly could that be? Sometimes, our body doesn’t work as well as it should, and doesn’t product the right amount of chemicals that we need to sustain health. When it comes to the hormone, progesterone, being too low, it can affect our body’s health significantly.

Our bodies are always fluctuating in many things all the time, like weight, blood sugar, and even progesterone. It’s normal for this hormone to fluctuate throughout the day. This hormone peaks during a woman’s menstrual cycle, but instantly drops and levels of progesterone become very low at the end of the period. It is also at an all time low during a woman’s menopausal years.
